New opportunities are opening up thanks to the partnership with the
Austrian company ad libitum Konzertwerkstatt GmbH and with the Slovenian
Festival SEVIQC Brežice in the form of an awarded EU project within the
framework of the Culture Programme 2009-2013. The Festival Kvarner is not only
proud to be a part of this international cooperation which is taking part on a
European level but it also sees this partnership as an incentive and motivation
to submit its own projects to the Programme 2009-2013.
The communal project is called the PurPur European Soundinterchange and
is being coordinated by ad libitum Konzertwerkstatt GmbH.
ad libitum
sees itself as space for new musical creations, as a platform on which the
seemingly impossible and definitely the innovative can emerge. It is a
spirited, funny, in the literal sense of the word, and creative team who are
not afraid of contact and who have experience and knowledge from many projects
which have already been implemented, who are carrying out this work.
ad
libitum comes up with concepts for festivals, individual concerts as well as
series of concerts and designs informative websites relating to these. However,
ad libitum wants to create results first and foremost. At the moment, ad
libitum is organising what is probably one of its most elaborate projects: the
OAO, the Orchesterakademie Ossiach.
